TEST Schönbielhütte

A warm welcome to Schönbiel Hut. Surrounded by mighty 4,000 metre mountains such as the Matterhorn, Dent Blanche, Dent d'Hérens or Obergabelhorn, the hut is the starting point for breath-taking and classic high-alpine tours such as the Haute Route or the Tour du Ciel. As a hiking destination at the end of the peaceful Zmutt Valley, you can reach us – without crampons – in 2.5 hours (from Schwarzsee) or on foot from Zermatt in just 4 hours, on an unforgettable hike that follows the north face of the Matterhorn. The hut is named after its "pretty hill" location in a stunning landscape and is a fabulous destination for a family outing.
