Relais & Chateaux Schönegg

The Chalet Hotel Schönegg, a family-run 4-star establishment and member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux, is situated on a hill overlooking Zermatt. With the "Schönegg"-Express, an elevator and tunnel within the mountain, the village center and the Sunnegga station are reachable within minutes. Our guests can enjoy a daily breakfast buffet featuring local products, as well as homemade jams and bread. In the evening, we offer a gourmet menu with refined dishes accompanied by exquisite wines.

In summer 2024, our wellness area will be closed for major renovations. The reopening is scheduled for December 2024 with new facilities including an indoor and outdoor pool, a Jacuzzi, massage rooms, and a spacious wellness center.
