Description
The cable cars take you up to Blauherd. The trail to Tufteren heads left away from Blauherd station and is initially quite flat. It then becomes more technical and there are some sharp corners to manage. It continues like this until you get past Tufteren. It is well worth stopping occasionally and taking in the amazing views of the Matterhorn, Mettelhorn and Weisshorn.
At the hamlet of Tufteren, the gravel path heads through the beautiful larch and pine forest to Sunnegga.
The best time to ride this route is either early morning or late afternoon, as this route (Flower Trail) is very popular with hikers.
