Gerry Hofstetter ist als Lichtkünstler rund um den Globus auf Lichtkunst Expeditionen unterwegs und setzt sich mit seinen Bildern und Botschaften für den Erhalt unseres Planeten ein. Während dem Lockdown im COVID-19 hatte er im Auftrag von Zermatt Tourismus während fünf Wochen das Matterhorn als globale Solidaritätsaktion beleuchtet. Über Vier Milliarden Menschen erreichte diese Beleuchtung durch die Medien. Diese Aktion ist auch im Film zu sehen

Learn about film locations, where great film stars once stood in front of the camera and discover ruins that are only known about by a few people.

On Sunday, 29 November 2020 the opening ceremony of the Christmas tree takes place on Bahnhofplatz Zermatt:

16:00 hrs: Beginning of the opening ceremony with music, drinks and pastries
16:30 - 17:00 hrs: Take a picture with Wolli under the Christmas tree
17:00 hrs: Advent and Christmas songs of the group "Musikgesellschaft Matterhorn"
17:30 hrs: Official lighting of the tree - countdown with Wolli
